Launched just this week, Google now provides a giant feed of information for all those enthusiast bikers. Not only does it give you all the best bike directions, but it also features Google map sites. This allows bikers to highlight the best, scenic, or fastest route of all the major trails in the world. So no matter what country you are in, bike maps are available. Plus detailed bike routes within the busy cities you visit to will be highlighted. Another words, do you remember all those bike tours you could take around in an unfamiliar city, well now you can just grab hold of Google bike maps and do it yourself. Wander the city with only a bike, has to be one of the best ways to experience any city, well especially a city that is filled with many bike trails. Google bike map includes a highlighting system where, a dark green line indicates bike only trail, where a dotted green line means only busy roads that are designed for cyclists too. It is a very easy system to use and soon it will get more people, like us travelers to experience a city on a bike.
